We’ve simplified the traditional method of buying a sixteenth of beef by eliminating the challenge of finding a farmer and communicating with a processor for those extra savings you’re after. The variety of this bundle includes the most popular cuts of meat and maximizes the amount of ground beef for everyday meals and special occasions.

Our Sixteenth of Beef bundle includes approximately 44 pounds of finished beef. The breakdown is roughly 20% steaks, 15% roasts, and 65% ground beef & ground beef patties—a great way to stock up and save.

Purchasing the Sixteenth Beef bundle requires some freezer space. Plan one cubic square foot of freezer space for every 30-35 lbs of cut and wrapped beef.

The Sixteenth bundle includes a complimentary digital meat thermometer.

  • Home Raised Cattle.
  • Certified USDA 100% natural beef– “minimally processed with no artificial ingredients.”
  • All beef employees are certified BQA Beef Quality Assurance.
  • No unnecessary antibiotics – we only administer antibiotics when needed for the treatment of an animal’s ill health.
  • Amana’s beef quality is equivalent to commonly accepted specifications for higher-tiered graded beef.
  • Locally Processed at a USDA Inspected Plant.
  • Aged a minimum of 21 days in Amana for premium flavor and tenderness.
  • All product is hand-cut by a trained Amana butcher, individually wrapped & vacuum sealed and frozen to lock in flavor.
  • For best taste from frozen products, use within 1-2 days after thawing.

Pick-up Options

All orders are hand-picked, so, usually, your order will be ready within 1-2 business days from the date you order online. We promise to keep you updated if dates change.

During the check-out process, you will be able to select a pick-up time that works best for you. If you’re not able to use one of our normal pick-up options, we will work with you to arrange the most convenient possible time. You can choose from the following pick-up options below:

  • Tuesdays between 4–6pm
  • Thursdays between 4–6pm
  • By Appointment Monday – Friday between 8am–4pm (We will call within 24-48 hours of your online order to schedule)


Delivery Options

Amana Farms Beef orders ship in thermally insulated boxes with freezer packs. The packaging will keep your beef safe for up to eight hours. Delivery type will automatically appear as an option for qualifying zip codes during checkout.

Local Delivery:
For customers within 30 miles of the Amana Colonies.

  • Tuesday’s delivery goes to Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, Tiffin, Marengo, Williamsburg, and Solon.
  • Thursday’s delivery goes to Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Robins, Fairfax, Walford, Mt. Vernon, Swisher, and Vinton.
  • Delivery Charge – $35

Expanded Shipping:
This is for customers outside our local delivery area but within 150 miles of the Amana Colonies.

  • We ship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with UPS or FedEx
  • Flat-Rate Shipping Charge: 10% of your order total with a minimum of $50 per address.
